Job summary

Allied Universal is seeking a Part Time Security Officer for Visitor Credentialing in Kahului, HI. You will provide access control, monitor entry points, verify credentials, and deliver exceptional customer service while maintaining a professional environment.

This role offers a flexible day schedule with our Claim a Shift platform and the chance to join a leading team that values integrity and community safety. Pay rate of $29.00 per hour.

Qualifications

• A state, county, or city-issued security-related license is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with laws.
• A drug screen may be required where permitted by law.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to employees, contractors, visitors, and delivery personnel by carrying out access-control procedures and site policies.
• Monitor entry and exit points, verify credentials, maintain visitor logs, and direct authorized personnel.
• Respond to access-control alarms, incidents, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner.
• Conduct regular patrols of facilities, access points, parking areas, and perimeter areas.
• Document incidents and access-control activities accurately and timely per reporting requirements.
