Allied Universal in El Paso, TX is seeking a part-time Security Officer Access Monitoring to safeguard patients, visitors, and staff in healthcare settings. You will manage entry points, verify credentials, and maintain logs while delivering professional customer service.

The role offers a flexible weekend schedule (Sat 02:00 PM - 10:00 PM, Sun 02:00 PM - 10:00 PM) and a pay rate of $15.25 per hour, with access to training, growth opportunities, and exclusive perks through our benefits program.

Qualifications

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to clients, visitors, and staff while following site-specific security procedures and access-control policies.
• Monitor access points, verify credentials, manage visitor entry, and maintain logs for personnel, vendors, and deliveries.
• Respond to access-control alarms, incidents, and critical situations in a calm, professional manner, escalating concerns as needed.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of the healthcare location, reporting unusual activity or conditions.
• Support a professional healthcare environment by deterring unauthorized access and guiding visitors to correct locations.
