Qualifications

• Be at least 18 years old for unarmed roles; 21+ years for armed roles.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Background check required in accordance with federal, state, and local laws.
• Drug screen required where permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements may be required; a valid driver’s license is needed for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, drivers, and vendors by carrying out site-specific access control policies and procedures, and, when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Monitor and control access at entry points, verify identification and credentials, issue visitor passes, and maintain access-related records.
• Screen incoming and outgoing personnel, vehicles, and deliveries in accordance with location procedures for a logistics and distribution environment.
• Respond to access-related incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, and report observations to site contacts.
• Conduct regular patrols of access points, loading areas, parking locations, and the business perimeter to deter unauthorized activity.
