Job summary

Allied Universal is recruiting for a Security Officer Enhanced Part Time Access Verification in Chelmsford, MA. You will provide access control, customer service, and security patrols at a logistics site with fixed shifts and the option to pick up extra shifts to earn more.

The role offers part-time hours with the potential to scale toward a full-time schedule, and a pay rate of $18.00 per hour. A six-month anchor shift commitment applies to the role.

Qualifications

• Be at least 18 years old for unarmed roles; 21+ for armed roles.
• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Background check performed in accordance with laws.
• Drug screen required where permitted by law.
• Licensing may be required based on state/local laws; driving positions require a valid license.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, and delivery personnel at a logistics location.
• Monitor access points, verify credentials, and control entry and exit of personnel and vehicles.
• Respond calmly to access-related incidents and document observations.
• Conduct regular patrols of access points, parking and perimeter areas.
• Assist with monitoring inbound/outbound traffic and follow reporting protocols.
