Job summary

Allied Universal in Belden, MS is hiring a Security Officer Enhanced Part Time Access Control Driver to provide reliable, flexible hours and on-site security services. Qualifications

• Must pass background investigation.
• Drug screen required where permitted by law.
• Valid driver’s license for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to employees, drivers, visitors, and vendors at a logistics and distribution location by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities as appropriate.
• Control access to the facility by verifying identification, visitor authorization, driver credentials, and delivery or pickup documentation in accordance with site requirements.
• Monitor entry and exit points, vehicle gates, and access-control systems; document visitor, contractor, and vehicle activity accurately.
• Respond to incidents, access-control concerns, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner; notify appropriate site contacts and emergency services when required.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of access points, loading areas, parking areas, and the business perimeter to help deter unauthorized activity and identify security-related concerns.
