Allied Universal in Savannah, GA is seeking a Security Officer Full Time Badge Issuance. You will manage access control at a chemical/petrochemical site, verify credentials, monitor entry activity, and assist visitors and employees with professionalism.

This role emphasizes safety and customer service. The position requires at least 6 months of security experience, a high school diploma, and a valid driver’s license for driving roles.

Qualifications

• At least 6 months of security-related experience is required.
• Access control and badge experience is preferred.
• A guard card or license is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• CPR certification is preferred.
• Must be at least 18 for unarmed roles; 21+ for armed roles.
• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Background check will be conducted as per laws.
• Drug screen required where permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements may apply.
• Driver's license required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to employees, contractors, visitors, and/or delivery personnel by carrying out site-specific access-control procedures, policies, and emergency response activities at a chemical/petrochemical location.
• Monitor access points, verify credentials and authorizations, maintain visitor and contractor entry records, and direct authorized individuals in accordance with site requirements.
• Respond to access-control incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established reporting and escalation procedures.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of access points, facility areas, and the perimeter, documenting observations and reporting security-related concerns.
• Support compliance with site entry requirements, including required personal protective equipment and restricted-area access protocols, while helping to deter unauthorized entry.
