Job summary

Allied Universal is seeking a Part-Time Access Control Security Officer at a retail distribution center in Charlotte, NC. You will manage entry points, verify credentials, monitor logs, and provide welcoming customer service to employees, visitors, and vendors.

This role offers flexible scheduling through our Claim a Shift platform, a $19.00 hourly pay rate, and opportunities for training and career growth while contributing to a safe and secure environment.

Qualifications

• Customer service experience preferred.
• Background check and drug screening in line with policy.
• Guard Card or license preferred if applicable.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, drivers, and/or vendors by carrying out site-specific procedures and access-control protocols at a retail distribution center.
• Monitor entry and exit points, verify credentials, maintain visitor and driver logs, and direct authorized personnel to appropriate locations.
• Respond to access-control alarms, incidents, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established emergency response procedures.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of access points, trailer yards, parking areas, and the facility perimeter to deter unauthorized activity.
• Document daily activities, incidents, and access-control observations in accordance with site policies and Allied Universal procedures.
