Broward College is seeking part-time tutors to support students in the Academic Success Center (ASC) or assigned departments. Tutoring spans one-on-one and small groups across subjects such as accounting, English, math, science, and languages.

Candidates should show excellent time management, customer service, and communication skills, with schedules likely evenings and weekends. Responsibilities include conducting tutoring sessions, assisting students, scheduling, and helping develop workshops

Formación

• Advanced levels and proficiency in the subject areas to be tutored.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to work a flexible schedule that may include evenings and weekend assignments.
• Ability to work with students from diverse educational, cultural, religious, and social backgrounds.
• Must be available to work a minimum of 10-hours weekly.

Responsabilidades

• Conducts individual, small group, and/or remote tutoring sessions.
• Assesses, assists, and encourages students during tutoring sessions.
• Monitors tutor appointment schedules.
• Assists students with making appointments.
• Assists in the development of workshops and exam reviews.
• Facilitates group study sessions (workshops, exam reviews, etc.).
• Participates in tutor training sessions and department meetings.
• Represents the ASC during classroom visitations, orientations, and campus-wide events.
• Performs other related duties as assigned.
