SquashBusters in Boston seeks a Part-Time Academic Coordinator to support 5th-12th grade students with homework help, enrichment, and family communication. The role collaborates with the Academic Lead and the squash staff to deliver integrated programming.

The position offers a flexible afternoon/evening schedule, with some weekend events, and pays $20–$25 per hour for approximately 20–25 hours weekly during the school year. A Bachelor's degree in Education or related field is preferred.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree preferred in Education, Human Services, Psychology, or related field.
• Experience with middle or high school students in educational or mentoring settings.
• Spanish language proficiency strongly preferred.

Responsabilités

• Facilitate daily homework help sessions supporting academic progress.
• Plan and lead enrichment and leadership activities aligned with SQB goals.
• Maintain a structured, inclusive classroom environment.
• Communicate with parents about attendance and progress.
• Coordinate with squash staff to integrate programming and student support.
• Ensure student safety and well-being following SQB protocols.
