College Living Experience (CLE) is seeking a compassionate Academic Coach for a part-time role in Austin, TX, supporting neurodiverse young adults as they navigate college life. You will tailor coaching to individual learning styles, help with executive functioning, organization, and study habits to promote independence.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in psychology, education, social work, counseling, or a related field.
• Teaching or tutoring experience with students.
• Ability to tailor instruction to individual learning needs.

Responsibilities

• Provide individualized academic coaching based on each student’s learning style, strengths, and goals.
• Review syllabi and assignments to help students plan realistically.
• Teach executive functioning skills: organization, time management, prioritization, and planning.
• Help students prepare for exams and complete projects with effective note-taking.
• Support communication with professors, advisors, and campus services when appropriate.
• Foster self-advocacy and independent learning.
