Job summary

College Living Experience (CLE) is seeking an Academic Coach for the Young Adult Transition Program in San Diego. This part-time role (approximately 20–25 hours per week) is in-person and focuses on building executive functioning, organization, study strategies, and independent learning skills for neurodiverse young adults.

You will collaborate with educators and support teams to help students navigate college life, manage deadlines, and develop confidence, with travel between sites as needed.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree required or equivalent.
• Teaching or tutoring experience preferred.
• Experience supporting neurodiverse students is a plus.
• Strong communication and adaptability to individual learning needs.

Responsibilities

• Provide individualized academic coaching and tutoring.
• Help students develop study strategies and executive functioning skills.
• Coordinate with professors, advisors, and DSS when appropriate.
• Document progress and keep student goal tracking up to date.
• Collaborate with team to ensure holistic student support.
