Job summary
A community-based organization in Lexington, MA is seeking part-time Behavior Therapists to provide individualized home-based ABA services. You'll work directly with clients, implementing behavior plans and collecting data to monitor progress. Preferred candidates will hold a high school diploma and have experience with developmental disabilities. This position offers flexible schedules, significant job training, and pay ranging from $19 to $27 per hour. Opportunities for growth into a Registered Behavior Technician certification are available.
Qualifications
1 year of experience working with individuals with developmental disabilities.
18 years old or older and reliable, consistent transportation.
Pass a background check and be authorized to work within the U.S.
Responsibilities
Work 1:1 directly with clients with autism using individualized ABA techniques.
Provide support for the parent/caregiver implementing the behavior plan.
Collect data focused on skills and behaviors to ensure client progress.
Skills
Experience working with individuals with developmental disabilities
Reliable transportation
Enthusiastic and passionate about working with children
CPR certified
Education
High school diploma or GED equivalent
Associate's Degree in Human Services, Education or Psychology
Bachelor's Degree in Psychology, Behavior Analysis or Social Psychology
