Job summary

Advancing Beyond the Spectrum in Bel Air, MD is seeking a part-time ABA Therapist to deliver 1:1 ABA services to children with autism in home, school, and community settings. You will collect data, assist with parent training, and support the BCBA in assessments to help children reach treatment goals.

You will work with families and the treatment team to implement individualized plans, maintain HIPAA compliance, and uphold BACB ethics while promoting meaningful progress.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in psychology, human services, healthcare, education, or related field preferred.
• High School diploma or GED required.
• Current RBT certification or willing to obtain within 60 days of hire.
• Current BLS certification or willing to obtain within 30 days of hire.
• Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
• Pass pre-employment state and federal background checks.
• Fluency in English; bilingual is a plus.
• In-home experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide 1:1 ABA therapy in home, school, and community-based environments.
• Implement individualized treatment plans developed by licensed & certified BCBA.
• Collect data to monitor progress and effectiveness of the plan.
• Provide regular written and verbal progress updates to families and BCBA.
• Support families with training on plan implementation.
• Effectively communicate with parents and caregivers as instructed by the BCBA.
• Maintain a safe, organized therapy environment.
• Collaborate with the treatment team and other professionals.

Education

Bachelor's degree in psychology, human services, healthcare, education, or related field

High School diploma or GED

Current Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) certification

Current BLS certification
