Job summary

Autism FIRST in Lynchburg, VA is seeking a part-time Behavior Technician (BT) / Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) to deliver 1:1 ABA therapy under BCBA supervision. You will implement individualized treatment plans, collect session data, and communicate progress to families and supervisors.

We offer paid onboarding, mileage reimbursement, and opportunities for professional development. The role requires evening hours during weekdays and occasional weekends, with two weeks of onboarding

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED is required.
• 1 year of ABA experience preferred.
• Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.
• Willingness to travel locally between clinic and in-home sessions.
• CPR certification required; TB test required; auto insurance proof.
• Active RBT certification strongly preferred.
• Enrollment in BCBA/BCaBA coursework is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Provide 1:1 ABA therapy
• Implement behavior intervention and skill acquisition programs under BCBA supervision
• Follow individualized treatment plans
• Collect and record accurate session data
• Maintain HIPAA compliance and client confidentiality
• Communicate effectively with supervisors and families
• Attend scheduled supervision, training, and staff meetings
