Lighthouse ABA is hiring a Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) for a part-time, in-home position in Weaverville and north of Asheville. You will provide one-on-one ABA therapy to a 10-year-old client under BCBA supervision, building a strong, consistent working relationship with the learner and family.

Schedule is up to 15 hours per week, with steady weekday late afternoons or Sunday early afternoons. Sessions occur in the client’s home in Weaverville, with mileage reimbursement; applicants

Qualifications

• RBT certification in good standing is required.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Previous experience in ABA or working with individuals on the autism spectrum preferred.

Responsabilités

• Implement ABA therapy techniques under BCBA supervision.
• Provide one-on-one therapy sessions per individualized plan.
• Teach and reinforce social, communication, and behavioral skills.
• Support the client’s communication device use during sessions.
• Apply behavior support strategies as written in the plan.
• Assist with toileting and daily living skill goals.
• Foster a positive therapeutic relationship and promote independence.
• Collect data and track progress to ensure outcomes.
• Collaborate with BCBA to review progress and adjust as needed.
• Communicate goals and progress with caregivers and family.
• Maintain accurate session documentation and keep credentials current.
• Participate in ongoing training and professional development.
