Job summary

Triumph ABA is seeking a part-time Behavior Technician (BT) to work with children with autism under the supervision of a BCBA. You will deliver one-on-one ABA therapy in home or community settings and help implement behavior plans.

Applicants should have a high school diploma and 1 year of relevant experience, with strong communication and organizational skills. The role is based in New York, with pay ranging from $18 to $21 per hour.

Qualifications

• Minimum of a high school diploma or equivalent.
• At least 1 year of prior experience working with children or in a related field.
• Experience in roles such as Paraprofessional, Special Education Teacher, RBT, ABA Therapist, or related.
• Strong communication, problem-solving, and organizational skills.
• Ability to follow written and verbal instructions and collaborate with supervisors and clinical staff.
• Ability to maintain HIPAA confidentiality and privacy.

Responsibilities

• Deliver one-on-one in-home or community-based ABA therapy to children with autism.
• Keep detailed and accurate records of client progress, session notes, and observed changes in behavior.
• Implement behavioral plans developed by the BCBA/LBA.
• Collaborate with therapy team members, including BCBAs, other BTs, and parents/guardians.
• Respond promptly to the needs of clients, families, and supervisors.
• Maintain clear and effective communication with families, supervisors, and stakeholders.
