Job summary

Empower ABA is seeking a compassionate and dependable Behavior Technician to provide one-on-one ABA services to children in their homes. You’ll work under the supervision of a BCBA to help clients build communication, social, and daily living skills.

The position is part-time with a schedule including Monday 4:00 PM–6:00 PM and Tue–Thu 3:00 PM–6:00 PM in Staten Island, NY. Prior ABA or RBT experience is a plus and training will be provided.

Qualifications

• At least 18 years old, with a high school diploma or equivalent.
• Legally authorized to work in the United States.
• Experience working with children preferred; ABA or RBT experience is a plus.
• Willing to complete applicable training and certification requirements.
• Reliable transportation to the assigned client location.
• Comfortable working in clients’ homes and receiving ongoing BCBA guidance.

• Record session data and complete notes accurately and on time
• Communicate professionally with families and the clinical team
• Attend required training and supervision
• Provide consistent, reliable support for your assigned client
