Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Associates/technical degree in criminal justice or related field preferred.
• Must pass background check and psychological evaluation.

• Must type proficiently.
• CPR/First aid, first responder and defibrillator certification required.
• Must obtain and maintain T-CPR training.

Responsibilities

• Receives emergency and non-emergency 911 calls and texts.
• Dispatches fire, law enforcement, and ambulance services.
• Monitors multiple radio channels and updates units.
• Operates CAD/records systems and logs radio/phone traffic.
• Provides CPR instructions over the phone when needed.
• Provides professional public safety information and assistance.
