Job summary

Study Smart is seeking tutors to provide tutoring support to math (Algebra 1) and other subjects for 8th-grade students. Each tutor will access class assignments and adapt to new materials with support from our Education team.

You will work with flexible hours Monday through Friday before or after school. A completed 4-year degree and a background check are required, with competitive pay and onboarding support available.

Qualifications

• MUST hold a completed 4-year degree.
• Teaching or tutoring experience strongly desired.
• Flexible availability Mondays through Fridays before/during after school hours.
• Complete and pass a background check, which may include fingerprinting based on location.

Responsibilities

• Provide tutoring support to small and large groups of students.
• Tutors will have access to information about class assignments.
• Adapt to new materials and teaching strategies.
• Maintain consistent communication with Study Smart staff.
• Partner with Study Smart Tutor’s Education team to provide comprehensive learning strategies to all students.
