UHP in Madison, WI is seeking a Preschool Teacher to create a nurturing and engaging environment that supports social, emotional, cognitive, and physical growth for young children.

As a lead teacher, you will develop and implement play-based curricula, supervise a classroom, build positive relationships with families, and collaborate with a co-teacher and the Director to uphold licensing requirements and program goals.

Qualifikationen

• Wisconsin DPI license including Pre-K (4K) or eligibility for substitute license.
• 18+ years old and able to work with children and families.
• At least 320 hours of experience as an assistant child care teacher.
• Able to lift up to 50 pounds when needed.
• Background check completed prior to start.
• Willing to fulfill required trainings and vaccinations.
• Collaborate with the Director and co-teacher to create a safe, stimulating environment.

• Develop curricula aligned with UHP philosophy and each child's needs.
• Provide care and supervision ensuring safety at all times.
• Build positive relationships with children and promote socialization.
• Create inclusive, welcoming atmosphere and celebrate individuality.

• Maintain records of progress and participate in conferences with parents.
• Support compliance with licensing and accreditation requirements.
