Base pay range

$15.00/hr - $15.00/hr

The primary responsibility is to take excellent care of our customers by satisfying each customer's needs and exceeding their expectations. This requires product knowledge, food preparation skills, sales ability, customer relations skills, and cooperation with fellow associates to create an incredible place to work and shop. Responsibilities include processing, packaging, and stocking products according to grocery standards, cleaning work areas, providing customer service, unloading stock, and reloading salvage.

Qualifications

• Personal Skills: Exceptional interpersonal skills, willingness to participate in training, and teamwork to increase customer satisfaction and sales.
• Education/Experience: High school diploma or GED; or 1-3 months of related experience/training; or an equivalent combination.
• Language Skills: Ability to read, comprehend, and write in English; effective communication in small groups.
• Mathematical Skills: Ability to perform addition and subtraction with two-digit numbers using units of money and weight.
• Reasoning Ability: Apply common sense to carry out detailed instructions and solve problems involving concrete variables.
• Certificates: Complete company training including new hire orientation, safety, and product knowledge.
• Physical Demands: Ability to stand, walk, handle, reach, talk, hear, taste, smell, and occasionally climb or crouch. Must regularly lift/move up to 60 pounds.
• Work Environment: Frequently exposed to wet, hot, or cold conditions, moving mechanical parts, fumes, and moderate noise levels. Reasonable accommodations can be made for disabilities.
