Primary Responsibility: To take excellent care of our customers by satisfying each customer's needs and exceeding their expectations. This involves product knowledge, food preparation skills, sales ability, customer relations, and cooperation with colleagues to create an incredible place to work and shop.

Responsibilities include: processing, packaging, and stocking products according to grocery standards, cleaning work areas, providing customer service, unloading stock, and reloading salvage.

Personal Skills

Education and Experience

High school diploma or GED; or 1-3 months related experience/training; or an equivalent combination of education and experience.

Language Skills

Ability to read, comprehend, and write simple instructions and correspondence in English. Ability to present information effectively to customers, vendors, and associates who speak only English.

Mathematical Skills

Ability to add and subtract two-digit numbers and perform operations using units of American money and weight measurement.

Reasoning Ability

Ability to understand and carry out detailed instructions and deal with problems involving a few concrete variables in standardized situations.

Certificates, Licenses, and Registrations

Complete company's training, including new hire orientation, customer service, safety, and product knowledge.

Physical Demands

Regularly required to stand, walk, use hands, reach, talk, hear, and taste or smell. Occasionally required to climb, balance, stoop, kneel, or crouch. Must be able to lift/move up to 60 pounds and reach from 6-72 inches. Specific vision abilities include close, color, and depth perception.

Work Environment

Frequently exposed to wet, hot, or cold conditions and moving mechanical parts; occasionally to fumes, airborne particles, or chemicals. Noise level is usually moderate.
