Job summary

Westminster Shores is seeking a Certified Nursing Assistant/Med Tech to join our Assisted Living team in Saint Petersburg, FL. This part-time role (16-24 hours/week) covers the 3rd shift (11pm-7am) and reports to the Director of Assisted Living.

You will assist residents with daily living activities, monitor health, and help maintain hygiene and safety. CPR certification and Florida CNA license required; 1 year long-term care experience preferred.

Qualifications

• Active State of Florida Certified Nursing Assistant license.
• One year of long-term care experience or working with handicapped or developmentally disabled adults.
• Active CPR certification.

Responsibilities

• Assisting residents with Activities of Daily Living such as bathing, dressing, grooming, eating, transferring, ambulating, toileting, and other resident needs.
• Ensuring beds are made and a high level of hygiene is maintained in the room.
• Ensuring meals are served on time and assisting residents with meals and feeding, if necessary.
• Taking vital signs and reporting observations and any change in condition to the nurse.
• Practicing infection prevention and control measures in compliance with Federal, State and facility requirements.
• Documenting in CNA ECS flowsheet promptly, accurately and comprehensively/thoroughly.
• Making routine rounds to ensure safety precautions/equipment are in place and in working order.
