Job summary

Westminster Suncoast in St. Petersburg, FL, is seeking a Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) – Medical Tech (Med Tech) for full-time work in the Assisted Living Center.

The role supports residents with daily nursing care under supervision, focusing on dignity, safety, and adherence to care procedures. The schedule is full-time (60–75 hours per week) with days varying Sunday–Saturday, every other weekend, 3rd shift.

Qualifications

• Active Florida Certified Nursing Assistant license
• Active CPR certification
• Active First Aid certification
• Experience working with older adults in a healthcare setting preferred
• Minimum of 6 months experience desirable

Responsibilities

• Assist residents with Daily Living Activities such as bathing, dressing, grooming, eating, transfer, ambulation, toileting and other resident needs.
• Document care and observations accurately and completely in ECS flowsheets.
• Observe and document residents’ self-administration of medications, ensuring compliance with prescribed regimens
• Take and record vital signs; report any changes in resident conditions to the nurse.
• Practice Infection Prevention and Control measures in compliance with Federal, State and Facility requirements.
• Conduct routine rounds to ensure safety equipment is in place and functioning.
• Provide timely incontinent care and reposition residents to prevent skin breakdown.
• Assist the Activities Department in engaging residents in planned activities.
