Job summary

U.S. Lumber seeks a 2nd Shift Part-Time Material Handler in Hebron, OH to safely operate forklifts, move and stage material, and pull daily orders.

Starting pay is $18/hour. You will read tickets, maintain a clean, organized warehouse, and work with Supervisors to meet workload. HS diploma and 1 year warehouse experience required; lumber experience and forklift credentials preferred.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent.
• Minimum of one (1) year warehouse distribution experience.
• Prior lumber experience desired.
• Engineered Lumber experience is preferred.
• Forklift experience and forklift certification preferred but not required.
• Must have basic math and analytical skills.

Responsibilities

• Safely operate forklifts to complete tasks including loading/unloading, moving, staging, pulling orders and transporting material; band, wrap, and tape product as needed.
• Maintain clean and organized warehouse area; ensure product is in correct location and floors are swept.
• Collaborate with Supervisors and coworkers to complete workload efficiently and effectively.
• Provide outstanding service to customers with attention to detail, accuracy, quality and timely completion of work.
• Assist with inventory variances, order accuracy and track/trace issues.
• Read tickets and product codes; ensure understanding of requirements.
• Read a tape measure and accurately pull daily orders.

U.S. Lumber, an SBP Brand, is currently looking for a 2nd Shift Part-Time Material Handler to join our VALUES based organization in Hebron, OH.

Starting Pay Rate ($18/hour)

Inthis role you will focus on:

Responsibilities and Essential Functions:

• Safely operate forklifts in order to complete assigned tasks including loading and unloading, moving, staging, pulling orders and transporting material. Band, wrap, and tape product as needed.
• Maintains condition of Warehouse work area, e.g. free of trash, product in correct location and organized, swept floors.
• Work cooperatively and productively with Supervisors and other employees in order to complete required workload.
• Provide and inspire outstanding service to customers by maintaining attention to detail, accuracy, quality and completing assigned work in a timely manner.
• Assist with inventory variances, order accuracy and track and trace issues.
• Reading and understanding tickets and the various codes for products.
• Must be able to read a tape measure. Accurately pull daily orders.
