Job summary

Gordon Food Service is hiring for a 1st Shift Warehouse Freezer Selector on a PART TIME basis. Position located at our Imperial, PA distribution center with a schedule Sunday-Thursday mornings. Pay starts at $20.90/hour with potential raises within the first year and higher rates for increased speed and accuracy in the Freezer Zone.

Benefits include weekly pay, wellness reimbursement, and a 401(k) with company match. Training is provided; 18+ years old and able to pass a drug test are required.

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years of age or older.
• Must be able to work holidays, weekends, and overtime as needed.
• Must be able to read, write and communicate in English.
• Prior warehouse experience preferred, but not required.

Responsibilities

• Stand for 10 hours per shift and lift up to 100 pounds.
• Work in a freezer environment as part of the role.
• Participate in training provided by our dedicated training team.
• Performance-based pay progression based on production and efficiency.

Role Overview

1st Shift Warehouse Freezer Selector PART TIME

Location & Pay

Distribution Center Address: 225 Solar Dr., Imperial, PA

Pay: Starting at $20.90/hour Plus earn two pay raises in your first year Earn more per hour for speed and efficiency additional $.80 per for Freezer Zone

Work Schedule

Sunday - Thursday. Sunday 6:30am until 2:30pm. Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday 6:30am until 11:30am.

Job Requirements

• You’ll be on your feet for 10 hours of work, you’ll be lifting up to 100 pounds, and you’ll be asked to work in our freezer, but there’s no experience required - we train you how to get the job done with our dedicated training team.
• Selecting is hard work, so we’ll pay you a starting wage that scales with production and efficiency- the better you perform, the more you earn.
• On average, our selectors earn 13.36% above their base hourly rate, plus overtime.
• Must be 18 years of age or older.
• Must be able to work holidays, weekends, and overtime as needed - holidays are very important to our customers!
• Must be able to work in extreme cold or hot conditions.
• Must be able to read, write and communicate in English.
• Successfully pass a drug test that will assess drug usage and a background check.
• Prior warehouse experience preferred, but not required.
