Job summary

Gordon Food Service is seeking a 1st Shift Warehouse Freezer Selector (Part Time) at our Imperial, PA distribution center. You will join a fast-paced team handling freezer items, with hours Sunday through Thursday, 6:30am to 2:30pm, and Monday-Thursday 6:30am to 11:30am.

Starting pay is $20.90 per hour, with two pay raises in the first year and extra premiums for speed in the freezer zone. No prior warehouse experience required as we provide training.

Qualifications

• Be on your feet for 10 hours; lift up to 100 pounds; work in freezer; training provided.
• Starting wage scales with production and efficiency; higher pay for performance.
• Must be 18 years of age or older; ability to work holidays, weekends, and overtime.
• Must read, write and communicate in English.
• Prior warehouse experience preferred, but not required.

Distribution Center Address: 225 Solar Dr., Imperial, PA

Pay: Starting at $20.90/hour Plus earn two pay raises in your first year Earn more per hour for speed and efficiency additional $.80 per for Freezer Zone

Work Schedule

Sunday - Thursday. Sunday 6:30am until 2:30pm. Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday 6:30am until 11:30am.

Job Requirements

• You’ll be on your feet for 10 hours of work, you’ll be lifting up to 100 pounds, and you’ll be asked to work in our freezer, but there’s no experience required - we train you how to get the job done with our dedicated training team.
• Selecting is hard work, so we’ll pay you a starting wage that scales with production and efficiency- the better you perform, the more you earn.
• On average, our selectors earn 13.36% above their base hourly rate, plus overtime.
• Must be 18 years of age or older.
• Must be able to work holidays, weekends, and overtime as needed - holidays are very important to our customers!
• Must be able to work in extreme cold or hot conditions.
• Must be able to read, write and communicate in English.
• Successfully pass a drug test that will assess drug usage and a background check.
• Prior warehouse experience preferred, but not required.
