Job summary

Miguel Pro seeks a part-time SPED Paraprofessional to support students with significant needs in reading, language arts, and math within a Catholic K-8 setting. You will work 1:1 under Licensed Teachers to help students access general education classrooms and implement ICLP goals.

Responsibilities include documenting services, coordinating with teachers and therapists, maintaining confidentiality, and participating in trainings while upholding Archdiocese policies.

Qualifications

• Requires a minimum of a high school diploma; some college or Bachelor's degree preferred.
• Experience in classroom or comparable support role preferred.
• Technologically adept with digital instructional tools.

Responsibilities

• Supports access to general education for students with moderate to severe disabilities, providing 1:1 services in the least restrictive environment.
• Collaborates with teachers to design/implement supports and modified activities to meet ICLP goals.
• Maintains confidentiality and communicates student progress and data collected.
• Performs clerical duties and uses educational platforms; participates in trainings and credentialing.
• Work full-time in the building, Monday to Friday, with a flexible approach as needed.
