San Juan Unified School District is seeking an Instructional Assistant II for 1:1 support of students with mild/moderate needs. The role involves assisting in both Special Day Class and General Education settings and supporting the classroom teacher in daily activities.

The candidate should have experience with Resource and Communicatively Handicap programs, be able to run small groups, and be willing to obtain a California Class C Driver License within 30 days if required.

Formación

• Experience with students in Resource, Learning Handicap or Communicatively Handicap programs.
• Ability to run small groups and assist in large groups and support the teacher's needs.
• Willingness and ability to obtain a valid California Class C Driver License within 30 days of hire if driving any equipment/vehicle requiring this license.

Responsabilidades

• Run small groups and assist students in large group settings in both Special Day Class and General Education.
• Support the teacher's needs and adapt instruction to students with mild/moderate support needs.
