San Juan Unified School District seeks an Instructional Assistant II for Special Day Class Mild/Moderate Support. This part-time role is 6.5 hours/day, Monday through Friday, for 9 months/year, 206 days.

The position requires experience with SDC and the ability to run small groups while supporting the teacher and students with various needs. The posting includes pre-qualification requirements such as a high school diploma, CBEST or IA proficiency, and a valid California driver license within 30

Qualificações

Experience with mild/moderate needs in Special Day Class (SDC).
Ability to run small groups and assist students in large groups.
Ability to obtain a California Class C Driver License within 30 days of hire or before driving any equipment/vehicle requiring this license.
CBEST or IA Proficiency Test required; applications without test results will not be considered.

Responsabilidades

Instructional Assistant II - Special Day Class Mild/Moderate Support duties include running small groups and assisting students in large groups.
Support the teacher's needs and work with students served in Resource, Learning Handicap, or Communicatively Handicap programs.
