Brightmont Academy is seeking a Part Time English & Social Studies Teacher to provide one-to-one instruction to a single student. The role features approximately 20 hours per week, a flexible schedule, and an hourly rate of $24–$30.

No lesson planning or outside work is required beyond scheduled sessions. The ideal candidate holds a Bachelor’s Degree in English, Social Studies, History, Government, Economics, or related field, with strong patience and empathy for diverse learners.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in English, Social Studies, History, Government, Economics or related field.
• Demonstrated patience and empathy for diverse learners.
• Ability to convey subject matter clearly and with enthusiasm.
• Proficiency with G-Suite and LMS or similar platforms.
• Willingness to comply with background check requirements.

Responsibilities

• Provide one-to-one English or Social Studies instruction to a single student.
• Tailor lessons to the student’s needs and learning style.
• Maintain a flexible schedule and deliver lessons with minimal prep outside scheduled hours.
