Job summary

Port City Air seeks an operational leader who will balance cockpit duties with day-to-day management of Part 135 operations, working closely with senior leaders to steer the company.

This role offers potential to advance to Director of Operations for the right candidate, with a collaborative team, program standardization, and ongoing flight operations oversight across the organization.

Qualifications

• ATP rated and current PIC with Part 135/121 experience.
• Minimum 3 years qualifying PIC experience under Part 121 or 135.
• Thorough knowledge of FAA regulations.
• Sound judgment and regulatory knowledge.
• Willingness to address operational issues before they become problems.

Responsibilities

• Serve as a Part 135 pilot in company aircraft.
• Assist with day-to-day flight operations and operational control.
• Provide leadership and support to the pilot group.
• Coordinate daily operations with Vice President and Charter Department.
• Resolve scheduling, crew, aircraft, weather, maintenance, and other issues.
• Promote compliance with procedures, OPS Specs, and FAA regs.
• Assist with FAA correspondence, inspections, and certificate-management.
• Review practices and revise manuals with OPS leadership.
• Support pilot training, standardization, and safety culture.
