Job summary

Air New England is seeking an experienced professional to join as Assistant Director of Operations and Part 135 Pilot. This role blends flying with operational leadership, requiring the ability to move between cockpit and operations while driving compliance and efficiency across the organization.

The position offers growth toward the Director of Operations, with responsibilities spanning daily operations and regulatory affairs, reporting to senior leadership and coordinating with the Charter

Qualifications

• ATP rating required.
• At least 3 years qualifying PIC experience under Part 121 or 135.
• Thorough knowledge of FAA regulations.
• Strong leadership and communication skills.
• Solid regulatory knowledge and compliance mindset.
• Willingness to address operational issues before they become problems.

Responsibilities

• Serve as a Part 135 pilot in company aircraft.
• Assist with day-to-day flight operations and operational control.
• Provide leadership and support to the pilot group.
• Coordinate daily operations with VP and Charter Department.
• Support FAA correspondence, inspections, and certificate-management matters.
• Revise and maintain company manuals and procedures with guidance from leadership.
• Support pilot training, standardization, and safety/compliance culture.
• Manage holidays, benefits, and vacation in coordination with HR.
