Qualifications

• Four years of paraprofessional experience which includes two years of paraprofessional social services, human services, corrections, or law enforcement experience.
• Two years of paraprofessional social services, human services, corrections, or law enforcement experience, and an associate's degree.
• A bachelor's degree in criminal justice, law enforcement, legal studies, political science, behavioral science, or a related field; or an equivalent combination of experience and training.

Responsibilities

• Field Operations: Utilize a state vehicle to meet with parolees where they live and work.
• Community Outreach: Coordinate with parolees' employers, counselors, and family members to provide support and evaluate progress.
• Treatment Planning: Develop and update supervision plans based on individual needs.
• Case Guidance: Help parolees and probationers address personal challenges that affect their transition.
• Agency Referrals: Refer individuals to programs that assist with employment, substance use, mental health, and other needs.
• Court Participation: Provide testimony and information during court proceedings related to supervision and compliance.
