Job summary

Texas Department Of Criminal Justice is seeking an entry-level parole administrator to provide supervision to inmates and assist with parole investigations. You will gather information and prepare parole documents while operating under close supervision with limited latitude for independent judgment.

The role expects at least 60 college hours and 2 years in case management or related fields; a Bachelor’s degree and knowledge of motivational interviewing are a plus.

Qualifications

• 60 accredited college hours and 2 years experience with case management, case processing, criminal justice, or the military.
• Ability to get along with others as part of a team.
• Good working knowledge of computers and electronic communication.
• Bachelor’s Degree preferred.
• Knowledge of motivational interviewing is a plus.
• Ability to follow written and verbal instructions.
• Ability to communicate clearly and concisely.

Responsibilities
