Job summary

Qualifications

• High School Diploma, G.E.D. or equivalent; combined education, training and experience.
• South Carolina or North Carolina Driver’s license.
• Ability to pass pre-employment physical and background check.

Responsibilities

• Performs manual labor and semi-skilled landscaping and maintenance duties for parks and recreation facilities.
• Maintains buildings and grounds including athletic fields, boat landings, planted areas, trails and recreation centers.
• Operates mowers, weed whackers, blowers and other power tools; applies fertilizer, pesticide and herbicide.
• Provides friendly customer service and reports safety concerns.
