Job summary

City of New Smyrna Beach is seeking a Parks Technician II to maintain and operate equipment for parks, athletic fields and recreational facilities. The role includes grounds maintenance, landscaping, irrigation work and routine equipment servicing.

The position requires a high school diploma or equivalent, 2 years of related experience, and a valid Florida Driver's License. This is an hourly, full-time role based at 124 Industrial Park Ave in NSB, FL.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent and 2 years of related park maintenance/grounds experience, or equivalent combination of education and training.
• Experience operating park maintenance equipment and performing grounds upkeep.
• Valid Florida Driver's License is required.

Responsibilities

• Operate moderately complex maintenance and landscaping equipment to support City parks, athletic fields, and recreational facilities.
• Perform grounds maintenance, landscaping, irrigation repair, and facility support activities.
• Conduct routine maintenance and servicing of assigned equipment.
