Oakland County is seeking a Parks and Recreation Supervisor to manage the operations and maintenance of Waterford Oaks and Pontiac Oaks County Parks, including trails, rental spaces, and recreation facilities.

Under supervision, you will oversee daily administration, inspections, staff scheduling, budgeting, and public relations. A Bachelor’s degree plus park management experience is required, along with a valid US driver’s license and six months probation.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Parks & Recreation, Natural Resources, Forestry, Horticulture, Business Administration or related field required; AND
• At least two years of full-time park/recreation management experience serving the public; OR
• High school diploma or GED plus six years of park/recreation management experience; Master's may substitute for one year of experience

Responsabilités

• Provide financial reports and budget recommendations to Parks and Recreation Administration.
• Develop Emergency Planning and response; support daily operations.
• Supervise park staff and coordinate maintenance, scheduling, and safety.
• Inspect park facilities and ensure compliance with rules and standards.
• Manage cash handling and deposits; maintain inventory and equipment records.
