Qualifications

• Must have a valid Florida driver's license.
• Must maintain active student status throughout internship.
• Must have an overall GPA of at least 2.5.
• Must be in good academic standing.
• Must be eligible to work in the United States.

Responsibilities

• Assist in planning, organizing, and implementing programs and activities for a variety of ages, including leagues, theater, and camps.
• Interacts and communicates with department staff, community groups, volunteers, seniors, and the public.
• Creates press releases, displays, and brochures for programs and facilities.
• Provides guidance on registration procedures for events and activities.
• Assists in setting up recreation classes, leagues, meetings, and events.
• Supports city-wide special events and manages field/shelter permits.
• Monitors safety and ensures security and maintenance of facilities and equipment.
