Job summary

The City of Corpus Christi's Parks & Recreation Department seeks a senior administrator to oversee financial and data management for the department. Working under the Director of Parks and Recreation, you will ensure accurate budgeting, forecasting, and reporting for the division.

Responsibilities include monitoring operating funds, coordinating budget transfers, liaising with Budget and Finance, supervising purchasing and accounts payable, and handling contracts.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree (BA/BS) is required.
• Five (5) years of experience are required.

Responsibilities

• Prepares, administers, and monitors department budgets and forecasts expenditures and revenues.
• Reviews budget transfers and capital outlay requests.
• Provides information and prepares reports for executive management.
• Oversees purchasing and accounts payable for the department.
• Oversees contracts, leases, and agreements managed by the department.
• Acts as P-Card Coordinator for the department.
• Coordinates agenda item requests and submissions.
• Manages performance data collection and reporting.
