Job summary

Montgomery County Parks and Recreation seeks a motivated Janitor to maintain cleanliness of parkland and facilities in Clarksville, TN. The role supports the safety and well-being of park patrons and requires two years of experience and a high school diploma.

Responsibilities include janitorial tasks across park facilities, restrooms, and pavilions, plus routine inspections and safety compliance. Evening/weekend availability is required.

Qualifications

• Two (2) years of janitorial or maintenance experience required.
• High School diploma or equivalent.
• Pre-employment criminal background check is required.

Responsibilities

• Performs daily inspections of all assigned Park properties and facilities.
• Responsible for carrying out all janitorial duties in all Park facilities and restrooms to Montgomery County Parks and Recreation expectations.
• Cleans and maintains trails, playgrounds, pavilions, and open green space as assigned.
• Performs continuous sweeping, mopping, blowing, and pressure washing of Park Features.
