Base pay range

$17.47/hr - $26.21/hr

Job Overview

Hours generally run from 6:00 a.m. to 2:30 p.m., Monday through Friday, with occasional overtime opportunities. Training is available for qualified applicants. Good customer service skills are a plus. All final candidates must consent to a criminal background check. A current Colorado driver's license with a clean motor vehicle record is required.

Duties and Responsibilities

This position supports full-time staff in maintaining parks and public spaces, including grounds, tennis courts, ballfields, shelters, and restrooms. Candidates should be able to work independently, lift containers, and handle general cleaning supplies.

Illustrative Examples of Work

• Lift up to 50 lbs
• Clean restrooms and shelters, scrub toilets and tables
• Empty trash cans
• Operate power tools: weed trimmers, edgers, handheld blowers, drills, saws
• Be willing to learn to operate small equipment: mowers, small tractors
• Pick up debris in park areas
• Assist maintenance staff as needed
• Maintain clean and safe park environments
• Hand weed shrub and flower beds
• Use hand tools: rakes, shovels, brooms

Hourly Wage
