Seasonal Parks Maintenance Worker - Denver Parks and Recreation

This is an on-call position, which means it is a part-time, hourly role. This position will work no more than 39 hours per week. The starting pay for this position is $19.59/hour and is eligible to enroll in the City and County of Denver’s 457b retirement plan. This position is not eligible for other additional benefits. On‐call positions may have routine or variable work schedules.
These positions will support parks within Denver’s Parks Maintenance Districts and will report to one of the maintenance shops in Denver. We are currently hiring for the Northwest, Southwest, Northeast, East, Greenhouse, and Water Conservation park districts.
Seasonal Parks Maintenance Workers play an important role in maintaining Denver’s extensive system of urban parks that are essential to the community’s well-being. These individuals learn and practice a wide variety of general maintenance and landscaping skills – providing them with a strong foundation to make upward moves within the Parks and Recreation Department.
