Job summary

Tulsa County is seeking a Labor - Maintenance II - Parks to support Chandler Park and other county facilities. The role involves semiskilled maintenance such as carpentry, plumbing, electrical and masonry, with duties like mowing, painting, fence repair and landscape care.

The position is hourly, safety-sensitive, and requires a valid Oklahoma driver’s license. Experience in maintenance work and the ability to read and follow instructions are essential.

Qualifications

• Knowledge of common practices, methods, tools and materials of varied, semiskilled maintenance construction work.
• Hazards and safety precautions of the work.
• Ability to operate tractors with mowing attachments and other light automotive equipment.
• Ability to operate chemical application equipment and read chemical labels.

Responsibilities

• Perform semiskilled carpentry, plumbing, electrical, masonry and other tasks.
• Lay water services pipes, open clogged sewers.
• Operate tractors with mowing attachments and other light automotive equipment.
• Paint facilities, repair fences, plant and maintain ornamental plants, grasses, shrubs and trees.
• Spray pesticides, herbicides, and landscape areas; clean and maintain equipment and tools.
