Job summary

Tulsa County seeks an on-site Maintenance worker to support the Chandler Park Splash Park facility during the summer season, May through October. Under general supervision, you will assist in operating and maintaining pumps, filters, and related systems to keep the park equipment running safely and efficiently.

You will perform routine inspections, basic repairs, groundskeeping, and equipment operations such as lifts and sump pumps, while complying with safety policies and county guidelines.

Qualifications

• Knowledge of mechanical operation of the splash park system and safety precautions.
• Ability to operate trucks and other motorized equipment and read chemical labels.
• Reading and following oral and written directions and procedures.

Responsibilities

• Operate and maintain pumps, filters, valves, UV light, and chlorine/PH levels.
• Maintain park facilities and grounds, including shelters, restrooms, and parking.
• Run lifts, loaders, and sump pumps; operate the irrigation system.
• Perform routine inspections and basic repairs while following safety rules.
