The City of Renton seeks an experienced Parks Maintenance Supervisor to plan, organize, and lead daily field operations across parks and trails. The role includes coaching staff, ensuring safety, and coordinating with divisions to meet project goals and standards.

You will supervise crews, manage schedules, and use GIS/maintenance tools to maintain infrastructure and irrigation systems, while driving continuous improvement and public service excellence.

Qualifications

• Minimum 4 years of increasingly responsible experience maintaining landscaped areas.
• 1 year supervisory or lead experience or demonstrated leadership experience.
• State Pesticide Applicator’s License.
• Backflow Assembly Tester Certificate (BAT) or CPSI certification.

Responsabilités

• Plan, organize and supervise parks and trails maintenance operations.
• Coordinate equipment and supply procurement and distribution.
• Develop area budgets and monitor expenditures with approval from Parks Maintenance Manager.
• Train staff in operation and safety of heavy and light equipment.
• Maintain GIS maps and irrigation system plans; oversee safety and compliance.
