Job summary

City of Benicia, CA is seeking an entry-level Parks Landscape & Building Maintenance Worker I to support maintenance across park facilities, cemeteries, and recreation areas. Qualifications

• Knowledge of basic tools and equipment used in repair and maintenance.
• Ability to perform unskilled and semiskilled landscape tasks.
• Ability to work outdoors in varying weather conditions.

Responsibilities

• Assist in maintenance, construction, and repair of city cemetery, parks, structures and equipment.
• Perform unskilled and semiskilled landscape maintenance tasks.
• Operate light mowers and basic equipment under supervision.
• Open/close gravesites and maintain park areas.
• Assist in painting, plumbing, and minor repairs as needed.
