Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Recreation, Planning, Public Administration or related fields.
• Five years in recreation facility development, grants administration and community planning experience
• Experience with public recreation and grants management preferred.

Responsibilities

• Administers the Parks and Recreation Development (PARD) and Undiscovered SC grant programs and ensures compliance with program guidelines.
• Manage the daily operations of the PARD grant program and expedite obligation and expenditure of funds.
• Develop and maintain relationships with local governments and organizations using PARD for parks and recreation development.
• Coordinate and conduct PARD and Undiscovered final inspections and follow-up with project sponsors.
• Oversee the Undiscovered SC grant program, including application process and award timelines.
• Ensure agency programmatic requirements for PARD and Undiscovered SC and compliance with state regulations; maintain documentation.
• Assist as team member in the administration of LWCF and RTP.
