Job summary

Qualifications

• Graduation from high school or GED equivalent required.
• Five years of grounds maintenance and/or landscaping experience required.
• Two years of supervisory experience required.

Responsibilities

• Trains employees on equipment and procedures.
• Evaluates staff performance to improve methods and efficiency.
• Plans and manages sports fields and cemeteries renovation projects, incl. contractors and staff.
• Coordinates maintenance schedules for athletic fields and cemeteries.
• Reviews turf conditions and decides on grooming, watering, fertilizer, and pesticides.
• Manages budget related to sports fields and cemeteries.
