City of Nampa is seeking a Parks Crew Lead to direct a parks maintenance team in turfgrass management, landscape construction, and related duties. You will work under the Parks Supervisor, guiding crews, training staff, and ensuring safety and quality across city parks and fields.

The role requires 5+ years in landscaping/horticulture and leadership experience, with CDL, applicator license, CPR/First Aid within set timelines. Work is outdoors in varied conditions.

Qualifications

• High School Graduate or GED required.
• Associate’s degree preferred in Horticulture, Landscape Construction or related field.
• 5+ years landscaping/horticulture field work required.
• 5+ years supervising staff preferred.

Responsibilities

• Supervise full-time and seasonal maintenance crews.
• Coordinate tasks, schedule work orders, and ensure safety.
• Lead landscape construction projects and turfgrass management.
• Provide training on technical tasks and equipment use.
• Maintain records and monitor work progress.
